CIRCUIT

Building with AI — without writing code.

SYNAPSE gave you a portable workflow library. CIRCUIT turns that library into interactive tools you and your team actually use. Eight sessions. Four primitives — Artifact, Persona, Knowledge, Chain. One capstone tool you ship and someone else can pick up cold.

WHO IS THIS FOR

SYNAPSE graduates ready to build.

CIRCUIT is for people who finished SYNAPSE with a working library and want their tools to do more — to be used by colleagues, to handle messy real-world inputs, to combine into actual workflows.

No coding background required. The assistant writes all the code inside Artifacts. Your job is the spec, the persona, the knowledge file — the thinking that turns "I want a tool that does X" into a working artifact someone else can pick up.

BY THE END OF CIRCUIT
  • You ship 6+ working tools to your library
  • One capstone tool that combines all four primitives
  • A privacy-header pattern that protects every data tool you build
  • Tools that pass the cold-start test — a colleague uses them unaided
  • Honest judgement about which primitives earn their keep — and which to drop
  • A clear view of the no-code ceiling — and what would require CORTEX or code
WHAT CIRCUIT TEACHES

Building real, no-code tools as Claude Artifacts — spec, persona, knowledge, chain. The thinking behind tools, not the syntax that powers them.

WHAT IT DOES NOT

Image generation (Midjourney, DALL·E) · video / animation (Runway, Sora) · audio / music (ElevenLabs, Suno) · writing code by hand · training your own AI models · other chat tools.

THE CIRCUIT FORMULA

Tool = Artifact + Persona
+ Knowledge + Chain

Every CIRCUIT tool you build combines two to four of these. The capstone uses all four. Each primitive is taught in its own session, then layered into more sophisticated tools.

Artifact + Persona + Knowledge + Chain
ARTIFACT

A self-contained, durable thing the assistant produces. HTML page, React component, Markdown doc, structured spec. Not a chat reply — a thing you can save, share, come back to tomorrow.

PERSONA

The role the assistant plays inside your tool. Not personality — judgement. "You are a senior tax adviser who pushes back on common confusions." Tone, depth, what to overlook, what to flag.

KNOWLEDGE

A 1–2 page curated reference your tool leans on. Firm methodology, brand voice, common mistakes, regulatory notes. The durable context every user inherits without re-explaining.

CHAIN

A multi-stage flow. Messy input → structured intermediate → polished output. Or drafter → reviewer → approver. Each stage small, debuggable, swappable.

THE BUILD LOOP

Define → Generate → Iterate → Use

Five minutes of definition saves thirty of bad iteration. Generate a v1, don't expect perfection. Iterate 3–6 turns: structure first, content next, polish last. Use on a real case. Ship it or park it — never "almost." That's the rhythm of every CIRCUIT session.

CURRICULUM

Eight sessions. One capstone.

Each session ships one new artifact you take home. By Session 8 you present a capstone tool that combines all four primitives, tested by a peer, in front of the cohort.

SESSION 01

FROM LIBRARY TO TOOLS

Artifacts as a building surface. The four primitives. The build loop. Ship one working tool you'll actually use.

ALL TRACKS
SESSION 02

DOCUMENT PIPELINES

Multi-stage chains. Messy input → structured intermediate → polished output. Three stages, debugged.

ALL TRACKS
SESSION 03

WORKING WITH YOUR DATA

CSV inputs, Artifact dashboards, hallucinated calculations, the privacy boundary. The hardest lesson in CIRCUIT.

ALL TRACKS
SESSION 04

TOOLS THAT TRAVEL

Persona + Knowledge as packaging primitives. The cold-start test — a peer uses your tool unaided.

ALL TRACKS
SESSION 05

PERSONA ORCHESTRATION

Team of Claudes — drafter, reviewer, approver. When orchestration earns its keep, when it's overkill.

TRACK SPLIT
SESSION 06

CONNECTING THE STACK

Projects, knowledge files, MCP, Zapier/Make. The no-code ceiling. Design (don't build) one connected workflow.

ALL TRACKS
SESSION 07

CAPSTONE STUDIO

Studio session. Build the capstone tool combining all four primitives. Mid-build peer test enforced.

TRACK SPLIT · CAPSTONE
SESSION 08

DEMO DAY + CRITIQUE

3-minute demos. Cohort critique. Group reflection. CORTEX hook for those continuing. Certificates issued.

DEMO DAY
CAPSTONE BY TRACK

One tool. Real work. Demo Day.

Same shape across all tracks: a working tool combining all four primitives, demoed in three minutes to your cohort. The theme differs by track.

PROFESSIONAL

Weekly Operating Tool

Takes the inputs you face every Monday — emails, meeting notes, status requests — and produces the structured outputs you'd otherwise spend Sunday evening drafting.

CREATOR

Content Production Tool

Runs the full content cycle: idea → angle research → outline → draft. Brand voice as knowledge, creative-director persona as reviewer, chain producing the deliverable.

FOUNDER

Decision-Making Tool

Runs a real decision through structured pressure: situation → contrarian critique → integrated recommendation. Multiple advisor personas. A document you'd actually use to commit.

STUDENT

Personal Study System

Turns lecture notes into exam readiness: flashcards, exam-style questions, weak-spot identification. Subject knowledge as KF, tutor persona as reviewer, chain that builds real recall.
